I've never participated in this fest since I've joined lj pretty late, but I've read a lot of fics that have come out from here. I'm glad to see it back, though I do not need more temptations.

Can anyone explain exactly what glomp fest is to me, please?

As far as I've understood there are like two groups;

the glompees: people who leave the prompts and are not writers/artists;
and the glompers: people who can write/do art, and for this fest claim prompts to make something for the people who aren't able to write/art.

So basically it's a fest to show love to non-artsy people, aka, people who usually comment, leave kudos, beta, etc but never write stories/draw.

I hope you understand it better now? haha.
