I saw this on tumblr two days ago but now everyone's posting it here so I thought I would, too, since I had already done it. There were some times when I was really tempted to press the 'I like both' option, but I think overall this is quite accurate. Now that I have this list before me, though, I'm realising there are so many tropes I like --not all of them are in here-- and yet I'm always writing about the same stuff, which are the ones in cursive.

High school/Uni AU is my #1 and looking at the list I realized that both other top ranked were Amnesia and Arranged Marriage which were the two stories I was reading at the moment. So i took the quiz again without looking at what I was planning to read this morning and High School stayed #1 but Espionage and Friends to Lovers took the other top spots. Why, yes, I was about to read a spies AU and Friends to Lovers was next in line. So, I love all the tropes but I most love whatever trope I'm reading or anticipating at the moment.

That's so interesting, I hadn't thought about it like that. I guess I have my preferences quite clear and I read/write fics based on them. But I have to agree with you on my fave being high school/uni au, too. I don't know if it's their ages or the setting or what, but I really like all the uni au possibilities.
