Moving from LJ

Even If I don't use LJ that much at all anymore, after the last terms of service update I felt like it was for the best to create an account here since half of the fandom also seems to be here anyways.

I plan to come back to writing soon. Hope you're all doing great.

Most of my fandom activity is still on livejournal so this new turn is a monkey wrench. I don't know what's going to happen there but having a Dreamwidth presence can't hurt.

That's good to know. I'm a lot more comfortable with LJ because it's the platform I know, so I'll continue posting there, but as your said, I thought I'd create an account here just in case.

I don't mean to pester you. I just wanted to re-read a story of yours on AO3, and the link didn't work, so I started sleuthing. Thankfully, I found your other stories there. Then I looked at your profile, and saw that you aren't using LJ much, so I signed up here just to reach you. I hope you feel flattered rather than stalked, and promise to go away quietly if you like :)!
The story I was looking for is called Time and Again. I found it really touching, and was hoping there's a place to find it? I only learned recently that if I really want to read a story again I need to download it rather than saving the link...I've had a few unhappy surprises lately!

Oh, hi! I'm so sorry you had to go through all that trouble just to get in touch with me, I feelt terrible. I took that fic down a while ago and it's not published anywhere. I never thought anyone would miss it, but If you want to read it all I can think about is emailing you the story in a pdf or something? If that's okay with you you can send me a PM with your email and I'll get back to you right away :)

That is so kind of you. Yes, I really loved Time and Again. I read it more than once, and had it saved to reread again (time and again :). The whole thing with the separation, and then the way they came together again was very powerful for me.

Are you still using LJ at all? I sent you my email address in a pm there, because with a free account I couldn't find a way to send a private message here. If you aren't accessing your LJ account at all anymore, let me know. I'll take my chances and post my email here. I don't suspect any Merlin fanatics will sell it to spammers.

I hope you think about reposting your lovely story. It makes me crazy that some exquisite stories hardly get any views, but that doesn't mean they aren't really important to someone somewhere!

Aww, that's lovely to hear, to be honest. I wasn't very satisfied with the outcome and the whole amnesia thing and I kept feeling the urge to rewrite it completely, so that's why I decided to delete it and forget about it. Maybe one day I'll try to edit it and repost it, I don't know. It still makes me super glad to hear you actually enjoyed it and read it more than once, so thank you :)

And sure, don't worry. I don't check LJ often, but I will still use it to post future fics and stuff, so if you ever were to need something else you can certainly contact me there, if you prefer, it'll just might take longer for me to notice. I'll send you the fic in a sec!
