Summary: Arthur’s agreed to come to the druids’ camp so that he can see this 'Emrys' the prophecy talks about and unite their lands. But Emrys won’t meet him. Instead, Arthur’s been left with this young druid called Merlin that parades around half-naked and smiles too much. At first, Arthur feels as though there’s no much more to him than just that, but later on he discovers that he’s been wrong all along and that Emrys has been closer to him than he thought.

Arthur scolws, at Merlin’s words and the sad tilt to his lips. He’s such a spoilsport, but Arthur doesn’t care because one day he’ll be king so he’ll make it possible. For them. "But princes can marry whoever they want. And I want it to be you," Arthur tells him, and he sees it as simple as that, really.

How he should grab a hold of the boy, plant him facepalm on the mattress and fuck him dry. But then, he wouldn't say it aloud, but it was exhilarating for once to leave the hard work to someone else.
